Sports Massage

There are huge benefits to massage but to anyone who is in a regular training schedule massage should be a vital part of their programme.

Sports massage is extremely helpful in reducing muscle stiffness, therefore aiding recovery. It also improves flexibility and helps to detect any muscle imbalances. If these imbalances went unnoticed then these could cause greater problems later in life. Therefore if massage is received regularly, then it will help prevent injuries.

There are so many different massage techniques eg. “soft tissue release”. This is great for releasing muscle tension for migraines and is an effective way of achieving strength and flexibility after muscular injuries. Another good reason for having a massage is to increase circulation, aiding improvement of cellulite - there you have it, the perfect excuse for a massage!
